Thanks Saw, I am supposed to register but I fish in a very secluded pond that is not well known, and I live in Boston, a lot of cops, not a lot of game wardens.

It's a roll of the dice Gary, might want to think it thoroughly.

Some states there are just fines, some states a licenses cancellation, some states confiscate the craft. Some states all of the above .

How is that 2x4 mounted to the kayak for your TM?

Nice setup and there's nothing better than a powered YAK.. I have to get a permit and inspection every year in order to use my yak on the closest lakes to my house.. Lakes Samish and Whatcom here in Bellingham Washington, plus my power boats.. I don't mind at least it goes to keeping invasive things out of the lakes...

Inspection on a kayak? What do they look for?

They are looking for invasive plants, seaweed and other living critters... it gets a tap every time my boats go in or out...

Thanks Jeep, totally understand now. We don't have an inspection here but maybe that is because i don't have a motor on mine.

Not sure what the requirements are here other than it is posted to hose down after leaving at most fresh water locations.

Nice looking craft there Jeep. I am not a fan of the inflatables but if that is what works for you go for it. Looks rather roomy i do like that part.

I hope you have her for another 10 and beyond. Certainly cheaper than what is on the market these days.

Just a bolt with some washers on one end. Really easy, and only cost about $40.00 in materials
