Hey guys and gals I found a trophy bass lake in Nj fished it once didn’t have any luck but really didn’t expect to being that it was 95 out and the lake had a lot of green stuff floating on top .I will be going again and spend sometime there will bring a selection of stuff have a feeling frogs will work good .

Hi Miley. Good luck at your trophy lake,but be careful. If that green stuff is vegetation, you're fine, but if it's that blue/green Algae it can be very toxic. If you're not sure, Google it and compare with the stuff on the water. You don't want to get sick from fishing. Good Luck and Tight Lines.

Thanks for the advice Fredfish .didn’t teally look at stuff on top but have seen it before on other lakes and ponds .will take a closer look

I did take a look at the characteristics on line. There are a few simple test if you think it might be present. Just search blue green alga tests.
