That’s why we have chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Individuality!! We are all human, but we are all different. Tolerance makes the world a level place. Second great commandment.

That tolerance idea is a great idea, in theory. Not sure a lot of people have much of it in their personality.

Tolerance is permitting another to have ideas differing from yours. It’s boundaries are limited only by illegal or immoral behavior. Lots of ideologies are floating around in our world today. Mankind has tossed any kind of value system out the window. There no longer is a right and wrong. That’s why things are so confusing. You can’t measure a board with out a standard of measurement- Myself and millions fought wars for your/others right to choose. I tolerate it as long as it is not immoral or unlawful. You are RIGHT. Not many have that virtue. Actually, most are intolerant with different ideas. What is scary is history shows what one generation tolerates, the next generation embraces. Thanks for your comment. I could say much more but not on this stage. Thank you!!

Thanks for your service in Nam. My brother and his friends were there and some went through too many horror stories. Until we are willing to listen to each other and be open to ideas different than are own, you will continue to see a country divided. Sadly, we've forgotten the importance of face to face communication. Maybe future generations will get it figured out some how.

A young couple moved into a new house.

The next morning while they were eating breakfast, the young woman saw her neighbor hanging the washing outside.

"That laundry is not very clean; she doesn’t know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better soap powder.

Her husband looked on, remaining silent.

Every time her neighbor hung her washing out to dry, the young woman made the same comments.

A month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband, "Look, she’s finally learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this?"

The husband replied, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows."

And so it is with life… What we see when watching others depends on the clarity of the window through which we look.

So don’t be too quick to judge others, especially if your perspective of life is clouded by anger, jealousy, negativity or unfulfilled desires.

"Judging a person does not define who they are. It defines who you are." 💯 Love this! 😊

BF That is so true brother. I saw a couple post today where someone should have washed their windows. Maybe they are just having a bad day. Maybe just naturally rude. Wonder if they take uncalled for criticism as well as the give it. 🤔

Nice post BF, a great thought, in theory. We make judgements about people, situations, products, etc, every day. For anyone married or with a significant other, did you judge that person before you married them, moved in with them as to whether they were right/wrong for you.

I love it when people say they don't judge others. We judge people every day. We even judge people we've never met or will meet. Maybe a better approach is trying to understand that not everyone looks like us, acts like us, thinks like us. We may be different but maybe that's all it is -- we are different for a variety of reasons.

Just my 2 cents.

Again a very true statement G. I don't expect other to follow in my footprints. I won't follow in theirs. I don't always agree with how someone does things but it's their choice. I know people disagree with how I do somethings. Again their choice. Life would be boring if we all did exactly the same thing. I don't care what religion you are what type vehicle you drive of ou use a zebco or a g-loom if you own a $70,000 boat or a $700 boat. Don't care if you fish for marlin n tuna or cats n carp. If your choices don't harm me I have no reason or right to put you down. If you enjoy what you're doing n how you're doing n it's not hurting anyone do it. Live life to suit you not someone else . If you're not happy with yourself good chance nobody else will be happy with you. If they can't except you as you are move on. That of course is just my personal opinion. Y'all have to form your own 👍👍
