A few weeks ago I called a Marina on Reelfoot to get reservations for a fishing package that included a fishing boat. The lady informed me that the lake was so low because of a drought that they weren’t renting boats. Does anyone know the current condition of Reelfoot? As of September 6, 2022? Thanks!
I am not sure about reelfoot,but I live in Jackson and all of West Tennessee was under flood watch yesterday.I haven't fished Reelfoot in many years.
We just returned from 3 days on Reelfoot. Very windy and choppy, but it was always possible to find beautiful places out of the wind and chop to fish. However, the bite was nil. Four of us had 4 Drum and one White bass to show for our efforts while fishing for Crappie and Catfish. Beautiful place with several Bald Eagle sightings, but terrible fishing.
