Well guys, we got to the river at 0730 and to the fishin grounds bout 0745. Caught 2 keepers right off the bat and we just kept catchin fish just not any big ones.
We were fishin hard and we had boated 38 fish in the first hour. I think we even had 4 or 5 doubles on during that time also. We had at least 12 or more doubles on today as well.
We got into a school that we were catchin a fish on at least every other cast. Spent more time UN hookin fish than we did hookin them.
We continued to catch fish up until the time we quit. We fished for 4 hours and we BOATED 70 fish and lost count of missed fish and ones lost at the boat.
We caught bout a dozen keepers and we kept 4. Two 22 inchers and two 20 1/2 inchers.
Took my two over to 1oldtimer's, Old Jim and his wife Barbara's house. They and Sue and I are havin fresh Striper for dinner tonight.
Took a pic of our fish and 1 pic of an Osprey that had a nice fish on a pole right by where we were fishin.
LOL, everybody was catchin fish today. π€ π
88 fish Tuesday on the Petaluma in 6 hours with Ben and 70 fish in 4 hours on the Napa today with Brad and y'all call me spoiled. I DON'T GET IT ! Whatsup with that ???

Looks and sounds like a ball. I will be down in your region pretty soon. I was hoping maybe to go fishing with you. I read the boat is probably going to be sold but I sure would enjoy hookin a Striper. I never have targeted them.

Maybe we can get together and make that happen. π

Not bad. Not as good as now though.
Sometimes in the fall into winter we catch bigger fish also.
Sounds good. I was planning to snowbird in Jan., probably to Texas, but I have a Med treatment on Feb. 12 that I can not miss. I am now thinking maybe Needles or Lake Havasu the rest of Feb and March. A few days or weeks parking the motorhome and boat in Northern Cal may be in order. My fishing in that area was restricted back in the day as all I had was an 11 foot pram and 3 hp motor.

Sounds good. Winter fishin is kinda cold for us Californians. Specially if the fog is in and it's damp. Gets in the low to mid 40s but feels MUCH colder. Just gotta dress for it and be prepared.
