Avid fishermen that let work/life take a front row seat, and ended up having to buy all new line! Found my last license dated 1997 while sorting thru my various boxes. Having finally gotten comfortable with being retired, I decided it was time to get a line wet.
Haven't caught any keepers yet (bank/dock fishing) and I'm trying to figure out how to convince the wife she really needs a boat....

Welcome to the stage Nook. Good luck with your quest to convince your wife. Tight Lines.
Just tell her she would look really good in that new bass boat over there! 😂

Well Nook, ya can't expect line to last a quarter of a century.. The boat, you're on your own, but over bustin' your chops for the last 25 for money, didn't Mamma get at least $2K a year extra stuff that she otherwise would have done without ? Just ask her for a $50K REBATE, and grab yourselves a nice little boat.
Unless that will start a major beef : don't forget, you'll be together a lot more now, so don't go too far "rocking the boat " ( intentional pun ). * nutz. *

Find a friend that has a boat, that is the best boat to own.
