I once knew a poet who didnโ€™t know it
Who said wind blew his mind
Smoking ๐Ÿšฌ was a drag
And insects ๐Ÿœ bugged him ๐Ÿž๐Ÿ๐Ÿชฐ
But since he didnโ€™t know it he wonโ€™t show it
๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜

We got us some rain, bout an inch and a half,

Said 15%,
No rain's what that meant,
So I had to go out and play.
Got down to the dock, it started to pour,
We need it, so we're not upset.
Got soaked, but there's no strife.
In the words of my sweet wife,
The fish are already wet.

I liked your pome TRB, nice pictures as well.

TableRock, Nice looking structured bay you were at and the one that didn't get away. Hopefully one day will wet some lines there. Daughter still looking for a slip to use for renters near Branson area of lake. Also, since have access to lake from the house but not actually on water, she is considering looking for a place right on the water and selling the one she now rents. If there are any homes you know of in your section, would be interested in checking it out. Thanks in advance.
Also, poems or pomes, play on words always goes along with a "poem". Keep the brain active so no rust builds there, because WD40 not a good choice.

His name is Jim E. and he would be a high school classmate of Mikeโ€™s that got his education but stayed in our hometown and drove many miles to work everyday. Donโ€™t know if he ever fished before Mike returned to the area but heโ€™s now retired also and Mike is teaching him new tricksโ€ฆwith Mike itโ€™s tuff to get a word in but with Jim you would have to step on his toe for him to speak?

One thing with Jim is that there's no toe-stepping. His mama was the most well-mannered person I've ever been blessed to know, so Jim learnt well. And Jim and I fished obsessively as young'ns, them life separated us. He fished some with his bride, them life got in the way again. Yip, both retired and sharing our obsession for bass-chasin regularly. It's one each hoot.
