Anyone know how the fishing would be at table rock lake, in late September to mid October? I am mostly interested in catfish, but anything else besides trout would be fine, thanks!
Hey Davo! Catfishing is good on TR year-round. Trout are super scarce. Just the rogue ones that get washed downstream many miles from the trout park. Dunno which end of the lake you're looking at, and I'm a bass-only guy who did a little catfishing as a kid. Around here, chicken livers, shrimp, stink bait, nightcrawlers, and if you're motivated, go catch some tiny bluegill. Always a good bait. Hope this helps and good luck!

Thanks, that’s good to hear; unfortunately, I checked on cabin rental and they were a little expensive for me. Ugh

3 lb. Channels can be caught easily in creek arms from dusk till midnight through October. 10 to 30 lb flatheads are hitting night crawlers late day shaded bluffs until late September.
Let’s keep this topic open and going!! I too will be at TRL. I’ll be looking for smallies and large mouth.

Dude. Try Cedar Hollow Resort. Cute little spot and very affordable.
