A few buddies and I are interested in going to either Wisconsin or Michigan late next Spring to fish for walleye. Looking for recommendations for lakes/lodges. We will also need to rent boats. Appreciate your suggestions

Hey Jack, I can't help you out in MI. but I do like the Green Bay area around Sturgeon Bay, or around the Peshtigo area on the West side of Green Bay. If you go in early June the Peshtigo River can be boiling hot. The walleyes on the West side of Green Bay go up there to spawn. (MHO)
Hi Jack,
You can check in Marinette or Oconto for boat rentals, etc. the Menominee River runs through Marinette, The Oconto River runs through Oconto and The Peshtigo River is between them. The walleyes spawn in all three tributaries off Lake Michigan, but these will give you options. Good luck when you go!
Menominee River gets a good run of steelhead, suckers and sturgeon too if you time it right.
Little Bay de Noc has some decent walleye action.
Thanks everyone for the info. I have started to research your suggestions
Hey Jack, quality or quantity?

That’s a great question. I think quantity. We would love to bring some home for a fish fry. Trophy quality is nice but I’m really not much into trophy’s as much as I am the fellowship and the banter of who caught the most.
