Wish I could of helped,my trip to Banks this year was a story of Murphy's Law,main engine wouldn't idle, discovered two big leaks in transom motor mounts, electric trolling motor didn't work, broke transducer bracket trying to repair leaks and the wind was so insane couldn't even troll with main motor,400 miles roundtrip just to stay overnight. If you do go out there I can suggest a spot, the east shoreline just north of Jones Bay campground before lake bends towards the dam has treated me pretty well in the past.Good luck.

Appreciated, since my bad trip most of the problems have been fixed, waiting on a new Motorguide xi3 delivery today but can't change the weather so have to live with that one.lol, the only other thing I could add is I was bottom bouncing a Macks double whammy smile blade setup (dark color) at about a mile an hr in about 20' of water.also have read the small cove west of Steamboat rock may produce some walleye but have no personal experience there yet.

Yeah good spots and I like the bottom bouncing in 20 ft. That’s always the way I start. Got blown off the lake Monday we’ll have to give it another try Soon I hope
