Wondering what to fish for on Tennessee River at Muscle Shoals, Alabama. TIA
I live about 50 miles west on the Tn River and fish wheeler a lot so to answer your question I will just say this River offers up great fishing for multiple species large catfish , Great bass fishing large and small mouth,, stripes around the dam locks crappie and bluegill in abundance so I guess we all need to know something about like do you have a boat or will you bank fish also what you like to fish for usually you can stand around any boat launch and get a lot of info from the locals as they are at the dock or the local bait shop might be some help
Thanks so much for the info. I generally like fishing for channel catfish, crappie, and bluegill. Don't have a boat so I would just be fishing from the bank.
Tough for bank fishing right now but any evening put some tight lines out in the deepest water you can find and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed in the catfishing in the Tn River

Garry,
Just saw your second post, there's a park-like area on the south side of the river just below the Wilson dam, at the boat ramp, I see a lot of people fishing from the bank there, and it would be good for cats, bass, stripers... Also you can fish the bank all the way down the camp ground at McFarland Park just across the bridge going into Florence.... Hope this helps! And Fredfish likes pictures!
