Hi y’all I am new on here. Going to Door County. Wondering if any one has intel on fishing the lakes - Clark, Europe, or Kangaroo.

You may want to check the local bait shops in Bailey’s Harbor or Jacksonport for any info of the fishing there.

Howies in Sturgeon Bay on 42 is good reference on Door county fishing. I never had luck other than the bay or in Sturgeon Bay or the other bays along Green Bay

Don’t know if you have a boat. Lots of people fish off the causeway in Kangaroo Lake. We have a boat, we found a nice weed bed 100- 125 feet out from the middle power pole on the causeway. Granddaughter caught a chunky 18” smallmouth there, using crawlers. Only contacted small perch. There is a mile long weed bed down the middle of the main lake basin south of the island. Didn’t get to fish it much, it was blowing pretty hard by the time I found it. The lake is mostly shallow4-6’ deep, rocky bottom so potential prop buster. Saw people fishing the rock bars. None of them are marked. Hope this helps.
