So I spent the morning emailing Fish USA about my kayak supplier holes and their stress cracks on two of them . Got to the point of getting full credit for my Yack and up grading to a SS127 from the RS117. I paid the difference and presto I now have a new yac . So once home and my stuff installed on it I decided to take it to the lake and put some water under it to try it out . First fish 3.1# and here we go 11more fish on the day ,a good 3#9 and some nice 2+#ers. Guess the yac's going to work ok? Not crazy about the color gun metal grey but that's all they had left till next April. So grey it is. Here's some pics of the day

Outstanding haul AndyB! Nicely done--still all on frogs, I presume? Do you use attractant at all?

DC. Frogs only still going strong the attractant I use is my cigar. Hahaha. No scents . In the pads their mainly going by vibration on the pads , some of my casts never touched water on the reel in. It's getting thick . Movement and speed variation is what I'm counting on. The fish dictate what they want and how fast , today was a sloooow day. Just creeping along and plopping In the small openings in the pads. Caught 3or 4 with in 8-10 feet of yac today . So I cut down on my casting distance. Still had to do the circus act paddling a few times. And I lost a bunch and just ended up with lilly pad stems🤬🥴🐸🐸🐸

Nice little watercraft. I am a motorhead. It would be fun with a 40HP outboard and speed prop. Nobody could beat you to the fishing hole.
Nice Boat thanks for all the great pictures. That Cigar really reminds me of GOOD FISHING.

Nice bass Andy, I actually like the color of your new yak. Seems to have brought you pretty good luck on her maiden voyage.
Nice report and a good looking yak
Nice going Andy, and nice rig. She's a proven fish raiser, on her maiden voyage! You can't beat that. Thanks for sharing.

" gun metal gray " ?
To me looks like an dark Army green. But if all those catches are with the new yak who cares what color it is, definitely working.
Please post a pic when you have it all decked out. I had a camo SS127 and now a camo ProPel. Prefer the dark colors like yours and the camo, that stealth mode in my mind is a plus.
