A Carpet Spot Cleaner.

Another use for white vinegar. We had some coffee spill spots on our very light beige carpet that we tried to remove with a commercial spot remover, and we had tried many, TECH being the best, but it still left a coffee ring. I went on the internet and found about 5 different homemade solutions. I combined the best ideas that I found in the 5 recipes and came up with this one. It works very well.
1. Mix 1 cup of warm water, 2 tablespoons of dove dish soap, and 2 tablespoons of white vinegar in a spray bottle and mix carefully.
2. Sprinkle baking soda evenly on the stain and leave for 30 minutes.
3. Spray the vinegar & dove on the baking soda and leave to bubble. Wait for the bubbling to subside, 10 - 15 min.
4. Gently rub the stain with a dry terrycloth until the stain dissolves Leave to dry thoroughly
5. Vacuum up the residue when dry.

Good recipe for sure. I have used one very similar in the past with great results. It took salt stains out of the carpet in the car.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
Have to save that one. Stubborn stains are always a oroblem

Straight vinegar works good on boat carpet for mold and mildew issues.
Soak carpet in vinegar and let dry.

Soda and food spells are my only experience and for them the wife insist on Club Soda as a cleaner. So far i have to tell her she was right. OUCH
