You can’t go wrong with minnows for those species and a few others? A little ice in the minnow bucket will help keep them alive longer

Freeze a water bottle or 2 and drop them in the minnow bucket, the chlorine in the water kills the minnows.
Crickets also work well for crappie
Didn't give the idea of frozen water working. Great news. Thanks for sharing.

Chlorine will kill them graveyard ded
Depending on what area of the lake, if from a boa at Wax Marina, go directing across to the left of the ramp. Fish in cliff area along the bluff. Small slip shot just enough to sink the minnow.
Across from Wax the rock wall is a good location for crappie, live minnows, with a shot weight to hold them down. Best eating fish in Ky next to Bluegills. Handsize.
Minnows ( live) or small broken back minnow artificial. Across from Wax at the rock bluffs.
If you put the boat in at Wax, across the lake is several bluffs, rock wall. I have caught a many crappie against the wall on my brothers houseboat. Docked in this area.
