We are considering a trip to Bodega Bay for Salmon next week but heard that the hot bite had moved out of there possibly north in the last few days. We are thinking about Fort Bragg instead. Wondering about reports south of Bodega, Bodega itself and also Fort Bragg. Any recent reports are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The bite is moving north but still closer to Bodega. It has not reached Fort Bragg yet. It is moving near Fort Ross/Timber Cove area. I’d start around line 25 and troll toward 35. I just came back from a week in Shelter Cove and lots of fishermen were heading south but returning unsuccessful. I’m heading out tomorrow toward Fort Ross. I’ll know more then.
Thank you for the info will keep it in mind as we plan our trip. Sounds like it would probably be better to just go north out of Bodega at this time. Thanks again
