Judy...... Welcome to the Stage. Rain, just ignore it and catch fish, ya only get wet once. Or get a poncho that breathes. You won't have a bunch of boats in your way, for sure.

I live in Minnesota, but can relate, Only we have days of dam cold weather. Like rain it all comes down to having the correct clothes and footwear. Rainy weather can be both great fishing and really bad. If you have thunder and Lightening Stay home. People die in this crap, thinking they are going to get that trophy of a life time. Doesn't matter if you caught? when you're dead. Light rains, over a steady rain fall, come get them. Even if you are a bank/ shore fishing these fish will eating. The rain covers you movement, plus you can use those larger baits, I have used large top water lures during a light rain and caught some of my PB, fish.
Same in colder weather days fish will go deeper, then go with medium size lures, or even scale down a little with slower baits. We go out on days when it's -20º during the weather and knock'em died.

Hello Judy. Welcome to the stage. There is no big deal with the rain. It is just water and we need it for both the fish and our gardens. Get a good rain suit and go get them.

Welcome to the Stage Judy. As long as it's not tropical storm rain, it won't hurt you. Many fish bit better in the rain. Good luck and Tight Lines!

We have to knock ‘em dead in the cold weather just to keep their teeth from chattering all the way home 🙄🙄

Hi Judy,
I don't know where you are in Florida, however I am in the Sarasota area and I find if I get out early I can catch a bunch of fish and be back around 2pm before the rains close in. I wish you well and tight lines.

Welcome Judy, where in FL are you located?
I am in Leesburg, just north of Orlando. I live on Lake Griffin which is part of the Harris Chain of Lakes. Good Large Mouth Bass fishing.
If your not to far away perhaps we can hook up and catch some fish. (We won't pick a Rainey day)
