Nice job, bric! You must not have a minimum size on walleye. Ours have to be 15" before we can keep them. Any saugar out there?

No min size. Can only keep one 15” or bigger. Sauger are further downriver on the Missouri and Yellowstone in far eastern Montana, and native.

Yummy! Nicely done Bric! Cracked me up when you said the water was getting really warm at 73°. Down here this time of year water temp can get to 90°+ esp. in the shallows.🥵

Me too. I’d be please to see that. My water is so hot. How hot you ask? 90 degrees and I have 10 days of upper 90 degree days with some predicted to be 100 plus. Water so hot the weeds in the lake are dying. No rain predicted.

Too hot. But I coaxed one up Saturday.

Jwid - been reading that the midwest has been in a furnace the past few days--that hot air mass is rolling over our way for a stretch through the weekend. Not looking forward to it. Was that a chartreuse swim jig you caught him on?

That looks like a 24”
Tray fly, he’s all good. Out here where we try for walleye, they are not even supposed to be there, so there is actually No size or limit. The rest of you can keep the fish tacos, that just sounds wrong to me. I’ll keep beef in my tacos for now.

Just and average chartreuse spinner with a single chrome willow blade. Hit it about 10 feet out in four feet of water. Headed right under the dock and tried to bust my rod in half. And yes Fredfish, one is what I wanted. Then I went up to the house and showered. It was too hot to try for another.

As long as you got what you wanted brother, it's all good.
