I'm very new to Fishing and just started fishing the Alafia River off Tampa Bay, FL. I was wondering what bait everyone is having success with in Brackish River waters, Semi-clear.?

Try a brown or black 4” paddle tail with a dab of pro cure shrimp scent.

Try a dark colored ie June bug worm in stained a red shad, watermelon in clear if not Shure a green pumpkin colored worm. To judge water color stick your rod tip in the water about 18" if you can see the tip it's clear if not stained

Fin came up with the universal bait......SHRIMP! Welcome to the stage. I also like to use spinners, swim baits, crank baits, and chatter baits. You might have to find out what color they want that day.
