I plan to go fishing tonight, full moon and all, on gasgonade river. What live bait/lures are best used bass/ crappie?

For Bass, Topwater, Spinnerbaits and Crankbaits, all in dark colors or Black. I've never fished for Crappie at night so no help there. Good Luck and Tight Lines. Don't forget some pictures.

Fred - I've only ever gone night fishing for cats. Always wondered though, for bass, why dark or black lures? Seems counterintuitive as I would think white or bright lures would be more visible to the fish.

During the full Moon the sky is brightly lit up. The dark lures provide better contrast against the bright sky. That's the theory anyway DC. That's supposed to be why night fishing is better around the full Moon, for Bass anyway.

Noisy lures at night make sense.

I’m planning a night fishing trip, Im also using live bait as well as some other stuff, I will be cat fishing. What I would try is live worms, my self I’ll be fishing with craw fish, live worms and some frozen shrimp, good luck to you hope you catch a bunch!! Be safe!!

Good job Red. I was thinking about fishing the moon this week, but the thunderstorms keep popping up.
