That’s very true GW. Sad so many peoples think it’s a nice place when it’s full of anger and they don’t see that.
Well if they’re rolling around you haven’t lost them yet.

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”

An interesting thought process. I can honestly say that some of the biggest mistakes I made in my life were made with my heart and my emotions, not well thought out with my mind. But that's just me.

I won't stumble following Jesus who leads both.

I believe ALL of us would agree with you on that one, Greg. When we let our hearts
(or other body parts) rule/override our thinking, we are more prone to mistakes. If we fill our minds with “good things”, that is what will more likely be manifested in our actions, and vice versa.
I think that is the principle Paul was teaching to the people at Philippi.
Good in - good out.
Garbage in - garbage out.

That goes along with the verse just prior to the one I posted above:
“and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
