We started fishing at Salt Fork State Park, didn’t catch anything. What lures do you use to catch different fish? Asking for husband

The original rapala different sizes for different fish I've always liked the silver belly with a black back. In the early morning hours or late evening right before dark hula popper top water lure or jitterbug. Small jigs with minnows or small plastics for crappie. Weight an circle hook with either nightcrawlers or liver for catfish 👍 I've been using atlas mikes magic thread to hold the liver to the hook.

Hey Foltz, I personally have had real good luck with plastic lizards. Green pumpkin with chartreuse color on the tail. Even 10 in plastic worms, black, or green pumpkin with red flake. Good luck.

Grew up Guernsey county. SF beautiful lake. Depends species. Saugeye usually by cabin area below lodge. Crappie good finger coves north of sugar tree marina. Vibes popular for saugeye jigged or fast jerk retrieve. Fish points along deeper water. Not unusual to be skunked occasionally. Get map search around. Rip rap by dams & causeways usually good. Pretty much normal fishing techniques. Hope you do well. My choice Seneca.
