I just moved from Utah. Just closed on a home in Spring Hill. Staying in Port Richey until closing date. l like both fresh and salt water fishing. I have a 16 ft Sun Tracker Bass Buggy with a 40 hp. I don't know this area and could use a little help on where to go. Thanks

Looks like you know how to catch Stripers. Welcome aboard and good luck in your new area.
Thanks. That was at Lake Powell. Beautiful place to fish.

I cant help you on fish location. Never fished the west side of Fl. ICW in West Palm Beach and down in the Keys are my only Florida fishing
Thanks, I would love to fish the keys. It's on the bucket list.
If you can put your boat in at Green Key that area can be good for Reds, Snook, Trout and quite a bit more. There is no boat ramp but a lot of people put there boats in there. If not there is a boat ramp by Hooters, and you can get to Green Key area easily from there, google it so you can see the area around Green Key. You want to get into the Bayou area bordering to the north of it. There is also good fishing out in the Gulf from here. There is a great bait shop near Hooters called the Bait Depot.
Have fun, Randy
Thanks Randy, I will try that this weekend.

Check out Bait & Tackle of Hernando Beach and or Norfleet's Fish Camp. They will be able to point you in the right direction.

Nice striper Tom.
I am fairly new to fishing in Florida. I live in the Clearwater area. I have recently started to fish from a boat instead of shore. I find that to be much more entertaining and better outcomes. I find fishing with white bait/ greenbacks to have a lot better success. Shrimp is the go to bait but you catch a lot of everything with shrimp. I mainly focus on Snook, Redfish and Trout.
I have already posted these photos on this forum. Not bragging just showing what can be caught on the above bait.
😁😁😁
Wow!!! Very nice. I love fishing from a boat too. Thanks for the info.
