Did you ever make a statement or question that embarrassed the hell out of you? Well I have and it still stays with me.
My wife and I were at the local bank conducting some business and we were in the managers cubical. She had an obvious tummy expansion that an expecting mother would have and the rest of her looked rather thin. I, trying to be polite asked her, "When is your baby due" and she responded that she wasn't pregnant. I will never ask that question again. I felt so bad! LOL.
Nope. I ve NEVER said anything self embarrassing LOLOLOL

Hey, I learn that a long time ago. But I still find ways to make a fool of my self.
Mmmmmffff - - I'll answer the question if I can ever get my foot out of my mouth. Which means, probably never.
It was the opposite way for me at a company that I worked for years ago

Been there…done that exact thing! I was doing the grilling at a big 4th of July party with a buddy of mine. A couple walked up for a burger and I asked the woman who was wearing what I thought was a maternity top…when she was due? The look she gave me was pure hatred. She denied it and the guy she was with screamed “YOU’D BETTER NOT BE!!!”
My buddy had to walk away as he was laughing. I had nowhere to go as I had to “man” the grill. Luckily, everyone else thought she was pregnant, too. I just happened to be the dummy who asked 🤦🏼♂️

You didn't corner the market on that one Kerry. Been there done that.
Been in that situation myself. It takes a while to get over it,believe me. Will I ever do it again? No doubt. The only good thing is that the older you get,the more you can get away with

Thats a question that only a membership salesman at a gym would ask if he wanted more sales
When I was married, my wife, she was extremely jealous of even women I didn't notice were walking down the sidewalk. Don't tell me you didn't notice the blonde haired floozy in that short skirt walking to the door? No but would you mind pointing her out? The stepson's we're sitting in the back seat piped up, yeah mom where is she?!! Tina Turner red as a beet.. Nevermind!
