I am not sure I will be here Monday to say this, so I say it now. To all of you have served in the armed forces I want you to know I am grateful. Not just thank you for your service because that is hardly adequate for the personal sacrifices that each of you has made in standing in the gap between me and whatever threat to my safety has arisen. As a child of the 60's I what that that conflagration did to many of you and the undeserved reviling that you received because of it. For those of you who came after I am sure that you have suffered no less. I am ashamed of the way you are treated by our "government" you all deserve much better. There is little that I can do to right any of the wrongs which have been done to you. However, I want each of you to know that I pray God's richest blessing and healing for each of you and that I am humbled and honored to live in a country where men and women such as you would lay down your lives to protect me and all I hold dear. May God bless and keep each one of you, I salute you all.
To join: I waited for a draft notice and it never came. Viet Nam wasn't something I believed in, but I always believed in my friends and relatives who made that trip. I really despised people who screamed baby killer and worse. I hope they have reflected on just how awful they behaved. Maybe they should hate the government, but not the veterans. God bless every veteran and your families.

To join in, I would like to recognize and Thank those family members that we left behind and supported us in lands near and far. For it was they who would send us that chocolate chip cookie care package with notes of love and support while keeping the home fires burning for us to come back to in Peace.
We will also not forget those that did not come home nor will we forget those that supported us for who we were and not for what we believed in. Many did not serve in the sense of military service, but served in the Lords way of caring, and for that I Thank You too.
..Tomorrow is Veterans Day. A day to be thankful to be a free Nation and enjoy the privileges won by our veterans and protected by our active military. Today, however, is the 244th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps! Happy Birthday Sisters and Brothers!!! Semper Fidelis...Always Faithful...Always...
Gotta respect all the service people that keeps US safe! Many injured protecting what we believe in and support the wounded warriors project! Salute to all service people!
