Yep….hands too is the closest tackle shop…theres one at the marina but hands has fresh live bait.

I caught, tagged and released 3 fluke from 17” to 17.5” on a plain hook Ava A-17 in Manasquan Inlet this year. Didn’t get a recapture report yet.

Have you tried keeping sea robin yet? Many people, including myself are keeping them now. I’ll keep the large ones and get two nice fillets. They are no longer considered a bycatch trash fish. The Fisherman magazine has added them too their annual Steiger Craft contest. They might be ugly, but they are tasty.
