Never heard of that. I would think that would be hard to do, fishing brings a lot of money to the East Side

It's going to be a fight. The environmentalists are trying to keep the area 100% natural. One claim was that they wanted to save kind of frog.
Pice by pice they have gained some ground.
I read this the D F and G website three years ago.

I sugest you check with the trout fitter in Mammoth Lakes and find out which bodies of water are being planted. They have had several years in a row dealing with problems at fish hatcheries that plant in the eastern sierras.

We've been coming to Bishop area for 17 years... the fishing has slowed down so much the last 5 years we are thinking of taking our "guys fishing trip" somewhere else. Really sad... it is a beautiful area.

I know what you mean. I also seen rules change, and a big decline in fish. It may never be the same
