Well, I guess I was missed. Several wrote private messages inquiring about me and what had happened. Saturday a week ago, I got up around 2:00 to go to the bathroom. When back in bed, I felt a terrific
Pressure on my chest, sorta like an elephant had stepped on me!

Since I could not rest lying flat, I went to my den and sat in my adjustable chair until my wife woke up around 7:00. We decided that it might be serious so she drove me back to the hospital. This began
a marathon of tests, and gallons of blood being drawn. While in the emergency room they decided it was not caused by a heart attack.

Over the entire weekend there were a multitude of other tests, and the conclusion was it was a reaction to my heart having the electrode’s place on the heart wall. Over time into even Monday, the pain slowly subsided, and I came home Monday afternoon. I am still weak but can manage on my own pretty well.

Now, for the rest of my silence. For some reason my laptop refused to boot. I called an old friend and computer guru in Houston, but nothing seemed to work. I finally was able to trick it into letting me in a back door. It was then I realized for some reason the place we are living had shut down the WiFi. This is the very first chance I’ve been able to get back in touch.
