Those of you that were at the North California M&G knew I had been looking for a coast/bay worthy fishing boat, well fellas as of yesterday I am a co-owner of the pictured boat. While I was in Minnesota I came across one that checked all the boxes on Craigslist and emailed it to my salt water fishing buddy (not a stage member). He went and looked at it and put a down payment down. I told him I trusted his judgement, so we are now the owners!!

It’s a 25’ Wellcraft Cuddy Cabin Walk Around, ‘08 275HP Evenrude Verado, 4 stroke, comes with outriggers, elec. Down riggers, 3 fish finders/GPS (2 @ helm, 1 @ stern), windless anchor, Aluminum trailer, elec. Crab pot puller, toilet and a cabin to sleep, store or just get out of the elements in. I love the ocean, I love salt water fishing, I hope to love being a boat owner (I know, happiest 2 days……..and B.O.A.T. -break out another thousand!)

So the adventur
es begin…………

Hey Denny. Did you see the post bout Halibut fishin out near Alcatraz?
Though you might give the girl some pointers on where she should go. 👍

I didn’t see the post Steve, I’m still out east and yesterday and today are travel days so been out of touch a bit. Thanks for the heads up though, can’t wait to get back home and see the girl up close!

As a bit of a (new) lurker, I can’t but say good job. Advice from an ocean blue water sailor would be to enjoy the boat and the ocean that we’ve got. It’s a bit tough in Northern California as I’m finding out, but those days when it’s beautiful- it really is stunning. Plenty of safety gear, redundant comms, and with all those rod holders, what more do you need!
Again, good job!

Thanks FishingFool, we don’t have redundant coms yet but we do have an epirb. Tight lines!!

Lol OJ! Gingers at my house and she doesn’t fish! She might go to the Blue Angels show or McCovey cove for a giants game, but no fishing for her!
