I was paying $1.38 per gallon when Al Zheimer took office. It’s now $4.45. We were a net exporter of energy under the “ bad orange man. “ Thanks to all who asked for this 💩. SMH.
It was about the same here (a week before the last election). As soon as the results were in, it went up a dime a week for about 4 months, then stabilized for a short while, then the increases were larger. It is about $5.20 /gal for Regular. Think they are trying to force us into this electric BS, or are we paying Russian prices to make up the profits?

It will be interesting or see where the Republican politicians stand on the proposed windfall tax, Senator Murkly, to stop price gouging at the pump and the highest quarterly profits EVER.
You realize what those profits are right? Money out of your pocket into theirs🤨

All of that plus padding the tier one PERS account.
Check out U-Tube for Ted Cruise video on gas prices going higher and higher and it's all explained, tried to get a link but beyond my skills !
Everyone who voted for Biden got exactly what he promised during his campaign, pushing oil and gas higher to expedite his green energy way of backing electric vehicles. It's really too bad the USA doesn't have the electric infrastructure to support charging that many of them.

I checked it out and he lays it out pretty well. Not too hard to figure out where the problem lies huh? I’ve seen the same results Ted explains for sure. It’s not just him who knows what’s happening and it ain’t Putin.
I paid $4.59 a gallon for regular yesterday but heard it would be %5.09 by the weekend. It pretty much sucks and it would've never been this high if Trump was in office instead of the puppet that's there now.

Before we go in whole hog on creating that infrastructure, let's understand how critical it's going too be to support the truckers who must cover the vast distances between population centers to deliver our goods for the consuming public. Can anyone fathom the costs involved with making this service available in , for example, in the midwest ? And to further complicate the ultimate cost of these products when they reach the consumer, how are these truckers going to spend their time while waiting for their vehicles to become recharged ? Does anyone doubt that they won't be hanging around for free ? This is just the tip of the iceberg. Costs to manufacture the charging systems, set up generating plants to power them, install all this hardware, etc. will all be borne by the market. And, in addition, with all this activity, will there be a net increase in environmental cleanliness ? I have my doubts.
We have huge oil reserves underground here in the USA, and Canada, but stopped a pipeline delivery system due to among other things, concerns that migrating elk would not be able to take their traditional routes because the pipeline was interfering. Couldn't we build them some ramps and bridges to facilitate their travels?
Lets take a measured and realistic look at the broad implications of where we are going with all this , before we make a huge mistake, to just make a small group of radical Greens happy.
Lots more to consider surrounding this issue, but I'm no expert, just a retired gray collar worker. I'm just concerned and believe we're going off half cocked and listening only to a bunch of misguided folks who claim to be saving the world, and a bunch of wealthy industrialists lining up to maximize their wealth and influence.
Rant completed ( for now ) Over and Out . . . . nutz

Our gas prices went up 15 cents yesterday. $5.15 for regular and over 6 bucks for non-ethanol. Diesel fuel is $5.85. Are everyone’s gas prices still going up? My son, in Wyoming, said theirs haven’t gone up any in over a month. They’re paying $3.87 for regular but their diesel fuel is hovering around $5.50.
In Connecticut it’s 4.80. The governors up for election in November so he took the state gas tax off. We have a Dino gas station in town that offers 15 cents a gallon off with their app.
