And Fred out fished me by 4 to 1! Believe me it wasn't for a lack of trying. We fished for 6 hours in no rain,light rain and steady rain. Fished in a cove near the dam. Had the pleasure of watching an osprey show us how to fish by repeatedly diving down and return to the same area. We figured it had a nest there. Later we watched a mink running along the bank picking up a dead fish. Around 1:00 we had to head back to the marina because of thunderstorm warnings but by the time we got there it was clearing so decided to fish nearby for another hour or so. Fred's secret bait was a Yum worm in green pumpkin with red flakes. When I finally put one on that he gave me I avoided the skunk with a dink! He has the photo to prove it and I offered to pay him not to post it! There is another interesting story about the rental boat which Fred may post.

Someone posted a thread about that lake an perch. Try jigs an plastics or jigs an worms. They're not bass but they are fish lol
