This is just me but I seen to always have better fishing days when there has been no moon 🌚 during the night before again just me

try using farmers almanac it has all the best fishing days and times listed by moon phases

I have heard from “old timers” that the “ New Moon”, ( no moon light) is the best time. I don’t know if that is just folk yore or true.

During the summer when it’s hot I fish at night. So calm and peaceful. I’ll run a black spinner bait or a black Topwater first . Then a buzz-bait. Sometimes live minnows under a floating light.

It a fact on a full moon the fis can feed all night because they can see better and Chace the bait fish.
Just like big game hunt full moon suck's the animals can see an feed at night and not worry about there Pedadors
