Is it a pike? Where did you catch it? It is against the law here to move pike from one body of water to another, as they can very efficiently empty a pond or lake in short order, which is particularly annoying if our tax dollars have been used to stock the lake! Several years ago a guy fishing in Lower Fire Lake (north of Anchorage) stupidly decided to kiss a pike he caught. The thing bit him around the nose and he could Not get it off! His buddy managed to cut the thing's head off but they ended up having to go to the E.R. to have the head painstakingly removed! A photo was on the front page of the local paper! Moral: never kiss a fish!
