My boat got water in the lines last year toward the beginning of summer, I was going to get that fixed and ran into allergies and a chronic cough that had dragged on for over a year, got that addressed and said to heck with it, life is too short and have a new boat on the way...should get it around mid June.

I'm getting a Lund 1775 Fishing Machine with the Mercury 115 Pro FX. As soon as I get it sorted out and launched a couple of times I'll be open to hooking up with guys that have an idea how to do this.

Congrats on the new boat, but isn't it a LOWE, not Lund, 1775 Fishing Machine?
I got the same model, but with the standard 115, in November of 2020 and have had a great time with it. It's so easy to trailer and launch, (my 15 year old daughter can pilot it on and off the trailer), and it takes all kinds of bumps, beaching and dock bashing without showing any dents or scratches. We probably do more tubing than fishing in the summer, and the teenagers love the speed. Since the dealer is a 300 mile round trip from me I've had to work out a few bugs myself, and changed out the sonar and trolling motor and added a ladder and rod holders. PM me if you think I can help with any setup.
Tight Lines!

Funny you should mention that...

If that boat sits around for anything over a few weeks it will not go well for me, it's got a couple of things it needs done to it, hasn't been titled in California in my name. price will start way low for someone who can do the fuel stuff and register it, price will go up $5k if I get the stuff done, no point in both of us paying registration.

It's a 2000 Crestliner 1650 with a Suzuki 60hp 4 stroke w/60 hours, very very clean looking hull in terms of paint and no scrapes or dents.

Thanks, Yes sir, that is what I meant...Lowe, glad to hear you are happy with it.

What are you getting out of yours in terms of top end? I had the opportunity to get one that was only a few weeks out from delivery with the Pro XS for another grand, and testing on that boat puts it out at 47mph or so with a 19p stainless...it has a 6300rpm WOT. I've got a Terrova with spot lock and lithium batteries I'm having put on this, the spot lock is awesome for jigging.

Don't worry, there's more to come. Every time I try to Google "Lowe" to go to the web site or find parts, up comes "Lowe's" home improvement stores!
Your top end with the XS should be higher (depending on prop) than my standard, as I believe a higher redline is the main difference between them. I've had 46 mph (on gps) one or 2 times, shortly after break-in, but it was on glassy water with it trimmed way up. Usually I get about 43 or 44. I have a 4 blade aluminium prop that came on it. I have the factory Bimini top up all summer, and 30 is about the most I do or risk damaging the top. My boat has the huge walk thru windshield, btw.

Nothing wrong with that...that's the kind of increase I was looking for from the 1650 I have that does about 35, Berryessa is a big lake.

Hey Woodguru, I've fished LBR quite a bit in the past. Mainly for Kokanee, so if that's something you would like to try, hit me up and I can get you started in the right direction. Congrats on the new boat.
