Hi everybody, I'm Richard from Scottsboro,Alabama right at Guntersville Lake. Alot of shallow back water that has kept me from bank fishing, an not alot of public access. So I've had to use a little imagination, I bought a radio controlled boat. Layed my bait an line on back drove it to where I wanted and pulled it off. Worked good until the battery gave out, since then I tied my bait caster to it to bring it back ! What ya think?

Hi All, My first solid food when I was very young was trout. Ever since then I was fishing. I love to fly fish for trout in the Spring and Fall taking out my inherited 1968 Orvis 10' Bamboo rod. In between these Seasons I fish for Stripers and Blues. My 52 years on this place I call home. Born and raised in the suburb of Boston, Now living in RI. My dad taught me how to tie fly's at the age of 10. I have always caught my creel. Stripers and Blues are always a challenge. I visit the Cape Cod Canal ( The Ditch ) and Narraganset Bay most often on my way to see my dad. My fishing buddies are few, We keep our numbers low so our secret spots won't get over fished. I am looking to start fly fishing for Stripers. I'm looking for some insight of what to use, Rod & flies.

Either a reply in this topic or a new topic in Introduce Yourself section is fine. Either way works.
