Has anyone tried one of the new RUNCL spinning reels. Just got mine in, smoothest turning reel I have owned. Looks like a quality reel and the black finish, impeccable. I use Penn reels and this is about 1/3 the price. If it as good as I hope it will be it will be my go to reel
I will check the RUNCL reels. I just purchased RUNCL boot waders at a very reasonable cost. I hope I did not make mistake.
I have 3 and am extremely pleased with all ! First ordered the RUNCL Merced 3000. Liked it so much I then ordered the Merced 2000 and Merced 4000. All are excellent quality featuring 10+1 Ball Bearings. Very large line capacity: 8lb./310yd.(2000 size) 8lb./360yd.(3000 size) 12lb./370yd.(4000). A great value at a bargain price.
Why pay More ?
Sounds great, will get a 4000 series for trout and red fish. Will give the 3000 a good workout end of the week. Thanks for the info

Love the pics! Gotta agree.
I just looked up the RUNCL Merced 3000, wow, that's for sure a great price!
I read a lot of reviews, about the biggest problem people mentioned was rust, even seizing up. They'd all used theirs in salt water. A couple of reviewers said that it's not very well lubed by the factory, and that they greased it up good before they began using it and never had any trouble.
I may buy one, and if I do I'll grease it!
Thanks when the 4000 comes in I will give it a good line. I started using lower unit gear lube, amazing stuff, works great you might give it a try. Got the lube info from a guy who fished salt water and had no problems
Lower unit lube has a lot of corrosion preventing additives. I have no idea whether that's true of traditional reel grease.
I have used it on bait casters and it’s amazing. Will give the spinning reel a lube with it and post the results
I have purchased from this organization and am satisfied with the way the items function!!!
I have purchased their reels and am satisfied with the way they operate.
Thanks guys for the info will get several of the bait casters and give the a good test and report the results

I received my RUNCL Waders. They sent me a size five. I wear a size 12-1/2. I contacted RUNCL and they told me that I must have ordered the wrong size. (I may Have??) I said May I return them andd have the correct size shipped to me. NOPE! Terrible customer service. I spend a lot of $$$ every year on fishing gear; both Salt & Freshwater. RUNCLE is not getting a penny, nor any positive commentary or recommendations to my many angler friends and boat owners.
