I’ve never heard of a limit on crappie but enough so thats just plain ridiculous to catch and keep that many fish of any kind recreationally. There needs to be a healthy fine for that I’d say.

I believe our limits have been lowered to 25 panfish per person, but no more than 10 of each species…to protect the resource. I keep enough for a meal, that’s about it.

Wherever they were fishing, they'd found a real honey hole. They'd have had a banner day and a great time if they'd practiced catch and release. And they still could have taken home their legal limits!

A few bad apples ruin things for the rest of us. I've kept 2 fish in the past 3 years. Some of the pics posted in the Forum have also looked excessive.
