This rod is close to 100 years old. My wife grandfather dad had it. I have had it close to 20 years myself. Don’t use it. It has a Shakespeare reel with mono line on it. Don’t know who made it but the handle is solid wood. It’s about 6 1/2 ft long. I have seen guys on the pier with them hooked up to another rod king fishing. I have also seen guys trolling with them. Seems to be a nice set up

that rod is called True Temper, here classic for snook and tarpon, a solid rod, almost forever, classic whit a Penn 203 reel, I have 3 of them, some times I used for snook in rivers, were my firsts rods, and keep fishing, ease to take care of them they said that you can run your truck over the rod and nothing happens to the rod, good memories of fishing, whit them

Troy,I have one very similar to yours. My father bought it in 1956. My first rod at age of 5. The rod foes not have a name on it but like PEPENANDO said mine came with a Penn 203. Had it restored and haven't fished with it yet.
