I fish from Rockport to Port Mansfield. Based in Port Aransas. Mostly wade and drift with artificials. Interested in those who do the same.

LIVED IN VICTORIA AND SAN ANTONIO FOR 20 YEARS BEFORE MOVING BACK HOME IN MISSISSIPPI.
WADE FISHED FROM PORT LAVACA TO ROCKPORT TO ARANSAS PASS MOST WEEKENDS YEAR ROUND. LAST COUPLE OF YEARS I FISHED WITH LARRY BELL -- ARTIFICAL ACTION. LOTS OF GUIDES WOULD KID US FOR NOT BRINGING IN A TON OF FISH. HOWEVER, WE WOULD RELEASE ALL THE LARGE TROUT AND REDS AND ONLY HARVEST THE SMALLER FISH. JUST ENOUGH TO FEED ME A FEW FISH DINNERS.
TRYING TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER TRIP BEFORE IT GETS TO HOT. LAST TIME DOWN MY LEGS WERE NOT I GOOD SHAP AND I COULD NOT MUSTER UP THE STRENGTH TO MUCK THROUGH THE AREA WE WERE FISHING. SO I HAD TO OPT OUT TO THE DRIFT.
DO YOU GUIDE?

I am not a guide. I just like to fish. Im semi retired and work a couple days a week. Have a place
In PA and mostly go around there but do go south to Baffin and the Landcut. It has been very windy the past few months so fishing has been dificult but hopefully about to change.
Same here
Lots of fish right now
Full moon and wind below 15mph seems best
Southwest wind seems to create dirty water
Cleaned fish loaded with shrimp and crab
