Hi y'all I'm new here and want to get info about where the fish are being found off the coast of Naples, Fort Myers, Sanibel, and Boca Grande Florida.
I'm mostly into bottom fishing for grouper, snapper, and some pelagic species.

Check Woods and Water magazine as well as as local tackle shops. Also radio and TV reports

Do exactly that... Go offshore in the Gulf from Naples/Marco Island; Use Bottom fishing techniques like cut Bait, Mullet, Squid or Mullet head. Water needs to be about 80-150 FT Deep. Use normal bottom fishing Carolina Rigs with a good size sinker.

Enjoy
Happy Fishing

Try a sabiki rig in spinning reel and rod catch live bait put it in a bait bucket with airorators live baits works best. Hook them through the tail south as not their the spin about a 1"" in front of the spine with a circle hook #4-6 for snapper and#7-9 for grouper's. Dead bait will get you some bites but live will get you more and bigger

Try your luck with a cast net or purchase it before you go
