I have fished lake frierson a few times just from the bank caught a few catfish but never from a boat. I heard that its good fishing .I like to go their because you can park close to the water and don't have to carry everything. I just moved to paragould and they have a little lake and park i have heard that the crappie is pretty good there I haven't had time to check it out yet.i like to fish but don't like fishing by my self and my wife don't fish so I don't go out alot.

Welcome RA, I have fished the upper part of the Spring River just below Monmouth Springs and have caught a lot of beautiful trout. I have also heard that the fishing downstream further is great too. Good luck in your adventures and post some pics of your catchs.

I have been fishing Black River just north of the state line in Missouri. Been doing good on channel cat and a few blues. Brought home 10 channel from 3.5 to 5 lbs weekend before last. The river was very high and strong. I have been in the back waters and the water was still 9 feet deep.

That would be great i have got a lot of things going on right now we just moved to Arkansas from Colorado and we are in Colorado now picking up all of our stuff that we have in storage and she ended up going in the hospital for blood clot and having a historectime done on Friday so don't know when we will get back to Arkansas she don't get around to good but I will give you a holler when we get back and settled down and maybe I can meet you and your husband at lake frierson some morning.
