Fishing next weekend. Only fished it once. Idle only. Beautiful. Like to catch some big ones. Any tips welcome.

Try swim baits like the 3.8” Keitech on a 3/0 EWG hook. I prefer colors such as Ghost Shad which is a more natural looking lighter color. In coves, try a buzz bait or other top water lure, including a frog, Whoper Plopper, etc.
I suggest fishing early in the morning or early evening.
Good luck, tight lines. Remember to take pictures of the area and especially of your fish.

I forgot to mention that I use a 1/8th ounce bullet weight with the swim bait and that I rig it weedless (Texas rig).
Strike King is another brand if you can’t find Keitechs.

Thank you. I do weight it a bit. I like KVD caffeine shad flukes. Had luck on them at Clinton a couple of weeks ago. Appreciate it!
