I’m interested in different methods of cutting and shaping trailers from pigskin. I’m using skin from smoke hams. I found recomendstions for coloring them and making them plyable. There a some suggestions to use salt pork fatback. They may be available from manufacturers but I haven’t seen any in a while. I know that there are many plastic or rubber trailers out there. I would appreciate input on this subject. Thanks I advance.
I understand you are looking for a supply of pigskin. #1 I would Google pig farmers in my area. #2 you may get more help if you share a suggestion or two that have worked in your situation(s). Grocery stores with a butcher shop in them may be another possibility.
Yes sir Thank you for the info. I’m also asking about shapes and how you cut the shapes. Thanks again
