My brother and his friend went to Lake Livingston this morning and set out some fishing noodles. Then they eased over to a bulkhead and the shad were trying to get on the bulkhead just get away from the catfish even to the point of jumping in the boat, they got their limits of cats on rod and reel and jug lines 50 cats total

Looking good enough to eat, I use the standard juglines in the Yadkin River here in NC, the noodles get gone here because of the big flathead and blue catfish have too many underwater trees to hangup in. We catch a lot of channel catfish from 5 to 20+ lbs. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
wow Cam,that's a lot of good eats there
Wow Cam, that’s a mess of cats. I can see a big family reunion fish fry in the future.

Very nice Cam. I'm going tomorrow for cats but don't think I can top that amount.

Are you sure Bett’s didn’t catch all of those? 😁😁😁 Tell em way to go. I’m pretty sure I would have been stuck by one or two of them removing the hook. Somebody’s eating good tonight.
Real nice haul. How long did it take to filet all those? Looks like a good fish fry night with hush puppies.
Thanks for the pics.
