FYI ; Don't know if you're aware of
this, but you can fish any State Park
in Texas, no license required !

If you're a shore fisherman, you can fish in any lake/pond/stream in a State Park without a license !

If you're a boat fisherman and the
water body is completely contained within the Park, the same applies !
If, however, it is NOT completely contained within a Park area, then
a license is required !

I doubt I will ever visit Texas but that is mighty nice of them. I think National parks in most locations require a license to fish but in some just a permit. Sure would be nice if all state parks and national parks were the same and didn't require a liscense.

I know when I was in Yellowstone all I needed was a park license. Best deal around., 15bucks for a week.
