Hello everyone. I am from the piedmont area of NC. We have several lakes in our area. Lake Tillery, Badin, High Rock to name a few a few. I am interested in learning more about catching large Blue and Flathead catfish and other species if sunfish.

Check your state laws but those Sunfish are your best bits for those cats. Night time is also the best time to catch them.

For Blue Catfish try Kerr Lake and Lake Gaston near the Virginia border.

Live Bream are great for Catfish on Lake Norman. There are some monsters in this lake!
