Welcome to the stage. Maybe a little divine intervention. Prayers heading your way. ๐๐
Some people would say a striper from shore is asking a lot, but it does happen. Good luck to you.

Any docks around? If you can't get on them because they are private toss towards them.

Not sure where on RI your trying your luck but if your near pt Judith go down to the docks where the draggerโs a taking out they flush a lot of junk fish over and it creates a chum slick for those stripers I would use a chunk of bunker and just throw it towards the boat and let it drift in the stuff there throwing over thereโs some huge bass around those docks, free food for them , good luck

Try bunker chunks, #6 or 7 circle hooks, enough weight to hold it at the bottom as the tide turns out. Good luck!

Try the Weekapaug Breechway in the fall. I never fished it this early in the year.
