Got the bird, onto the crappies

My 10 year grandson got this 25.5 pound, 9.5 inch beard with 1.25 inch spurs. Now he tells grandpa that he is ready for fishing crappies. I couldn’t have a better little buddy!!

That is one great bird my son and Grandson are out today hunting for a Tom.

Thanks to all the replies. I’m very proud of him. This was his second Tom. His first bird was 27.5 pounds, 10.5 inch beard and 1.25 inch spurs. He has also harvested 3 Bucks and 4 does in his short career. He got his first buck at age 8. As parents, grandparents and guardians, we need to teach our youth that there is more to having fun than TV, computers and cell phones. Take a kid to the great outdoors.

Love taking my grandsons
My one grandson he's 13 and kill two bucks and a Havolina. And both my grandson's have kill ducks and Doves with me.
My family 👪 has always loved too hunt my cousin also.
