Have most of the catfish here been abducted by aliens?

Have been trying to catch some catfish in the rivers and in some lakes around Warsaw NC and have only cought two in Johnson lake I'm starting to think they took a ride on a UFO or something I've never had this much trouble catching them ,bass have been great cats not so much. WHATS UP?

I've used chicken liver,night crawlers, shrimp,gizzards with garlic,hamburger with garlic limburger and wheelies,goldfish,and cut bait

I use mostly juglines in the Yadkin River using shrimp, cut shad, bluegills, gold fish are premium for Channel, flathead or blue catfish. I also fish the Moose lodge pier at nights using chicken livers on treble hooks or circle hooks. I have many fish fries with my family. Water temperatures need to warm up a bit but they're getting close to early spawning for Channel catfish.
