You mentioned getting a Texas
fishing license, but not sure of
pricing ? I believe you have four choices - the first is a one-day
license (all waters) for $16/day,
then there is the non-resident freshwater (yearly) license for $58, saltwater (yearly) for $63 and the
all-waters (yearly) for $68 !

so if you are going to fish more than 4 days in texas mise well but for the year.
wouldnt it be nice if there was a national fishing license that allowed you to fish in all states so when you are on a road trip you could fish where ever you are

That’s a great deal on a yearly, non-resident license. When I lived in Oregon an annual, resident, fishing license was more than that.
